The town of Axminster is built on a hill overlooking the river Axe, which heads towards the English Channel at Axmouth, and is in East Devon. It is a market town.
On RoadsWe Travel, welcome to a short excursion to Axminster. The town is known for its carpets, not that they are the only place where they are made. They are infact manufactured all over the world. Apparently, each Weatherspoon pub has an Axminster carpet designed for them, and then ofcourse the Royal Palaces do, too.

Glad to share our enjoyment of it, I always feel privileged to stand and look. That quote is good. Made me think, too. Take care Shelly.
Love the little towns you’re sharing. How wonderful to end the day with a rainbow!!
