Saint John was on the island of Patmos and in vision he saw a tree and a river in heaven and this is how he describes it: ” And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb/Jesus. In the midst of the street of it and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bore twelve different fruits, and gave fruit every month: and the leaves were for healing the nations. And there shall be no more curse… and we will see his face…the Lord God will give light.
Revelations 22: 1-5 ( Partially written with Sandy’s understanding. They are interesting verses to read in full.)

The tree which moves some to tears of joy is in the eyes of others only a green thing that stands in the way… to the eyes of a person of imagination, it is imagination.
William Blake.
I saw a tree
I saw it twice, or was it thrice
At a glance
Through my lens
Then I lingered with it for a while as I painted what I thought I saw
My mind saw it Glowing
Wet like copper
Its structure like a heart tipped up side down.
Branches making hundreds perhaps thousands of V's
Far more than I could paint
Were they for: Valued,Vibrant full of Vigor
The tree was growing into its decided, natural shape
Its branches clear against a lowering sun.
A sight I chose to spend time with and let all cares fly with the clouds in the sky on the bristles of my brush.

Christ the heavenly Teacher, will lead His people to the tree of life that grows on either side of the river of life, and He will explain to them the truths they could not in this life understand.

So glad I shared this beautiful tree. Two ways I guess.
Have a lovely week.
Sandy 🙂
How lovely, Sandy!!
Thank you! I was having fun. I haven’t learnt how to make branches come towards the viewer. It is enjoyment that counts.
Enjoyment is the key!
Thank you.😊
