Falesia Beach (2)

This post is a sequence in 4 minutes of five photographs. I didn’t realize at the time what I had captured of this space in light colour, shades and tints. The times: 15:40,41,42,(I took two)43 44.

Here are three very different thoughts about attention:

The first from Antisthenes:

‘ Pay attention to your enemies, for they are the first to discover your mistakes.’

The next from Deepak Chopra:

‘ The quality of one’s life depends on the quality of attention…’

Then this from Paul written in Greek to the early Hebrew, or Jewish Christians:

Keep/ fix /look at Jesus, the one who wrote/ (the author of) your faith and the One who will finish/perfect your faith. Jesus the One who was so joyful about saving you He endured the cross, scorning its shame, and then sat at the right hand of the throne of God. (Why there? I must find out.)

Hebrews 12 :2

There is more, always more.

Take care,

Sandy 🙂

Ps

I sat a while in the evening and painted. These cliffs defy my appreciation with a brush but that is the joy of giving attention.
