Falesia beach and cliffs

How do we enter a space we have seen before? A year ago to be exact. We have changed by seeimg other spaces and places, other mountains, seas and forests, other works of art, but here we are at the entrance of a place that has experienced a year of seasons, weather, and many other visitors. What will it be like? How will it feel to back. Let us enter down the same staircase taking us slowly to a vast scene. First the marks of time run with water then with colour change of iron going to deep red. There is more, there must be more, for as we climb lower there is the sea and a tree as green as before clinging on the top. The sea is flatter and holding the suns reflection more strongly when clouds don’t get in the way. The place is the same but can’t be. It is good to be back after a year.

Let us see this in photographs. I have chosen verses of scripture from the writings of Paul to the Romans under each scene.

‘ We are made right by faith, we have peace with God through Jesus and stand in His grace. Yes, we have tribulation but that makes for patience, and patience, experience, and experience hope.’

And we are not ashamed about this hope because our love for God is not kept secret but spreads abroad by the Holy Ghost which is given to us. For when we were without strength, in due time Christ died for us the ungodly.

For scaresly a righteous person will one die… but God loved us so much that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

We are at the sea…

by the cliffs under the sky.

As we were a year ago.

‘There are accents in the eye which are not on the tongue, and more tales come from pale lips than can enter an ear. It is both the grandeur and the pain of remoter moods that they avoid the pathway of sound.’

Thomas Hardy

A place to see again and again.

Take care,

Sandy 🙂
