Framed or in a vase.

Here are two verses one from the Old Testament and one from the New Testament of the Bible. They both use the word draw .(pull,drag)

God speaking through Jeremiah

‘ I have loved you with an everlasting love and because of this I draw you to me.’

Now Jesus speaking about God using this same word:

‘ No one can come to me, Jesus, unless the Father who sent me draws them.’

Jeremiah 31:5

John 12:32

A framed group of flowers in a picture.

Lamb’s-ear, scabious, cardoon and euphorbiacea/myrtle spurge.

It is interesting how in the framed picture the 3-D effect has been kept even when it is two-dimensional. It is something I want to work with.

‘ Art consists of limitation. The most beautiful part of every picture is the frame. ‘

Gilbert K. Chesterton

Is the most beautiful part its limit?

Then

‘Principles and rules are intended to provide a thinking person with a frame of reference.’

Carl von Clausewitz

‘We are not permitted to choose the frame of our destiny. But what we put into it is ours.’

Dag Hammarskjoid

A jar of similar vegetation the scabious is not included as it is  too small.

‘Trying to change ourselves in order to please others – so that we can feel temporarily whole for having won their approval – is like cutting a flower into pieces so that it will fit into a vase.’

Guy Finley

But here is a warning from God who is speaking through the prophet Jeremiah:

‘ When I say to the wicked,

“You will die”;

and you have not given them any warning and not told them to stop their wickedness so that they save their life;

that person will die in their wickedness but their blood will be required at your hand/ you will have the blame.’

Jeremiah 31:5

‘Choose your friends with caution; plan your future with purpose, and frame your life with faith.’

Thomas S Monsoon.

And a  joyful quote:

‘ An hour is not merely an hour, it is a vase full of scents and sounds and projects and climates.’

Marcel Proust

Have a beautiful day.

Take care,

Sandy 🙂
