Cuneo, Borgo San Dalmazzo,Cuneo

Here are two thoughts one from the Old Testament with David speaking the other from the New Testament Paul speaking.

David:’LORD you will hear my voice in the morning. I will direct my prayer to You and I will look up.’ Psalm 5: 3

Paul: ‘ Being confident of this one thing, that God who has begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.’ Philippians 1: 6

A cycle ride

A cycle ride from 8 am to 10: 50.
The route is marked in red with a large red dot where we started.
The blue pen circle is where there is no dedicated cycle path. It was a small pass, up and then down. I wouldn’t recommend this for children.

I will give an idea of the scenery, the two rivers and Borgo San Dalmazzo, a church.

Torrent Gesso with most of the path in shade for much of the circular route.
The mountains are what take one’s eyes off the path.
Morning sun coming into the town of Borgo San Dalmazzo.
Stura di Demonte
The corn is growing well and many fields are irrigated from these two rivers.

We are now close to Cuneo. The market fills the square where I took my photograph of the sun leaving. The dedicated covered fruit and vegetable market is with people and colourful produce. Lunch was next. The cheese stall holder was generous with samples of two types of cheese,  a softer, creamier slicing cheese was best.

A good experience in the fine countryside and back before it got too hot.

Take care and have a good weekend.
Sandy 🙂.
