Sabbath cycle to church

A cycle ride of 50 minutes following a river upstream to a city church
The grey silt is thick on the banks and sometimes in the middle then there are gaps where water gushes.

A church where kind people baptize one of their own
An acceptance that God's voice through the Holy Spirit still speaks.

In 27 AD John lifted Jesus body from the water and God spoke in the form of a dove:
' This is my loved Son,
I am so pleased with Him.'

Today a person lifted another person from the water and God says again:
' I am so pleased you publicly said you are mine.'

Jesus speaking: 'Go into all the World, and say the gospel to every person. Those who believe and are baptised will be saved; but those who don't believe will be damned.' Mark 16:16

A cycle of 50 minutes downstream. The cold waters flow beside a smooth wide cycle track, the mountains rise into a cloudy sky.
Water flowed over a man's face today and all heaven rejoiced that his love was made public for God who he hasn't seen but by faith and that small voice knows He is there.
A small lake with reflection.
The end of Sabbath.

Two thoughts on reflection:

‘ The way we experience the world around us is a direct reflection of the world within us.’

Gabrielle Bernstein. (American author, motivational speaker, and podcast host.)

‘ Your writing voice is the deepest possible reflection of who you are. The job of your voice is not to seduce or flatter or make well-shaped sentences. In your voice, your readers should be able to hear the contents of your mind, your heart, your soul.’

Meg Rosoff (American writer based in London.)

As you can see through my photographs this is a beautiful world and in particular France.

We will continue to travel.

Take care,

Sandy 🙂
