Taking space

Preserving space
With " Special"
       People
       At the
       Centre
       Encapsulating
the all of us...

Facts

The second largest of the world’s five oceanic divisions.

Area of 85,133,000km².

It covers 17% of Earth’s surface and about 24% of its water surface area.

Five continents right on the border of the Atlantic Ocean. These are North America, South America, Europe, Africa, and Antartic.

‘ God commands, and raises the stormy wind, which lifts up the waves. They rise up high and then go down deep. People melt inside their souls because of the trouble they stagger like a drunk person and are at their wits end.  Then they cry to the LORD, and He brings them out of their distresses. He makes the storm calm, so the waves are still. The people are glad because they are quiet.

Oh, that people would praise the LORD for His goodness and His wonderful works to the children of people.”

Psalms 107 :23 ( This Psalm, as Sandy sees it, is full of the up and down wave motion of relationship between God and us.)

Then, look what Jesus says about a storm that sends waves high above their boat:

Desciples: ” LORD save us, we perish.” And

Jesus says: ” Why are you afraid? Oh, you of little faith.”

Jesus then stands up in the boat and calms the sea.

Then here is a sea more mysterious and beautiful, and in mind moving through space and time, our thoughts can hardly hold.

This is said by John in vision on the Island of Patmos talking about another sea in front of the heavenly throne. ( I can only imagine.)

” And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thundering and voices, and there were seen lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God. And before the throne, there was a sea of glass like crystal.” Revelation 4: 6

Travelling with the word “sea” through the Bible is fascinating and something I enjoyed doing today.

I have shared such a little, as little as a photograph can only show so little of the sea.
