We often snatch/ bag/ nab a moment in a photograph, and here is one of a sparrow in Biarritz.

I love it so, when on a hot summer’s day a family of sparrows completely fill my birdbath as they splash and enjoy their ‘bath’ time.
They are good to see. For a few years where I lived, we didn’t see them, and we missed their cheeky ways.
Sparrows certainly are ubiquitous! Remember the ones we raised in Bulawayo? Happy memories.
