A Sabbath walk at Dinton Pastures

David speaking from a heart of hurt:

Let all those who seek You rejoice and be glad in You and let such as love Your salvation say continually; Let God be magnified.

But

I am poor and needy; come to me quickly, O God: You are my help and deliverer, don’t put off coming.

The context of these verses is a view of despair with a strong desire for God to be in it and do what is right by him and others.

Psalms 70 I see this Psalm as one of many examples of David’s open relationship with God.

Walking for a couple hours, it is so easy to blend in thought with the water trees and spaces filled with plants along paths leading in a circular movement past: small, torn, bright…

Small…
torn..
…bright
…along a path.

An autumn afternoon in Dinton Pastures, 350 acres of country parkland for anyone to enjoy.

Swans on the lake.

A bench in the shade.

Take care,

Sandy 🙂
