‘No circumstances of birth or nationality, no condition of life, can turn away God’s love from the children of (people) men.’ EG White
” Human love may change, but God’s love knows no change. Circumstances may separate friends; the broad waters of the ocean may roll between them; but no circumstances, no distance, can separate us from the love of God.” EG White.
Here is God’s emotional response to the thought of destruction:
God speaking:
” How can I give you up….? How can I surrender you….? How can I make you like Admah ?( a city destroyed with Sodom and Gomorrah) How can I treat you like Zeboiim?( The 4thcity destroyed)
My heart is turned overwithin Me, all my COMPASSIONS are kindled.” Hosea 11: 8
This is why the final destruction of the wicked is going to be an infinitely painful experience for God. Isaiah 28:21.
The meadow
This time last week was our first day back at home for being away for 72 days. We went to the meadow. Today is cloudy but warm with a little rain but that day was sunny.
The shadows of the trees were sharp. The pond with coot , mallard, and moorehen. Swimming in the watery shadows of well leafed trees. The new trees are pushing out of their protection, and others still low down . It’s a pleasant site to see… especially when I may have lost my seven seven- year- old trees. Not good.
My trees, I planted from acorns picked up from under the ancient oaks in the meadow, were heavy in green leaves, but now, these same leaves are turned russet and ivory. I wasn’t here when the green leaves started to unfurl. Their abundance is proof that the trees were healthy and beautiful. We had a lot of rain here but maybe the leaves stopped the droplets going to the roots? Maybe this or that, the truth is I should have been here or made sure they were watered by someone .
It is me!
I am watering them and hoping!
Ironically, droplets of rain are on the leaves this morning.
Looking at the word lack.
Good luck is when opportunity meets preparation, while bad luck is when lack of preparation meets reality.
