Shasta daisies and foxgloves

The last words of Ecclesiastes (which in Hebrew means Preacher and in  Greek call an assembly) written by King Solomon. A king  who couldn’t make life the same as his words. His ‘different’ was obvious to him because God is always the same.

‘And further, by these my son, be warned: of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh.

Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter:

Fear God, and keep His commandments: for this is the whole duty of people.

For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.’

Then John wrote in the last chapter of the book of Revelations in AD 54-68.

Jesus speaking: ” Blessed are they that do His commandments that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.”

Ecclesiastes 12: 12,13,14. Revelations 14 :14.

A photograph

In our garden, a large self seeding fern thrived with the rain. It pushed out the shasta daisies, and at some time, a foxglove spike broke, so side shoots bloomed into the fern. It’s an interesting tangle, but here are the broken stems in a glass, including a few leaves from a pretty weed.

The same but all different:

Same

In the same bracket,breath, vein.

The more things change, the more they stay the same. Funny this our garden is certainly different but really the same.

Different

Enter a different world.

See things in a different light.

Dare to be different.

Oh, how the left, lush, garden smiles at these three.

“Insanity is doing the same thing, over and over again, but expecting different results.” Albert Einstein

This garden doesn’t allow for insanity. It demands change.

Two photographs of the pond area are examples of different.

The lavender took over the chair.
The lily leaves tall while the zebra grass has left the pond to live on land.

The ants have been busy carrying the soil, too. A lot of work for us still to do. It will be different, but hopefully, it will be the same.

Take care and enjoy the day.

Sandy 🙂
