Watlington Sabbath walk of four miles.

‘ He that dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the  Almighty.’ Psalm 91:1 KJV

Yesterday was the hottest day this summer in the South of England, and today, as you can see, it was cloudy but still warm. Come, let’s walk a while in seven photographs.

‘If the view is very beautiful, don’t  sit and watch; go to the view, be in the view.’ Mehmet Murat Ildan

We walked down Watlington Hill until we were in the view.
The beards of wheat were rubbing as they moved in the wind.

‘ The wheat field has poetry. It is like a memory of something one has once seen. We can only make our pictures speak. ‘

‘ If I am worth anything later, I am worth something now. For wheat is wheat, even if people think it is grass in the beginning.’

Both quotes are from Vincent Van Gogh.

We are part of the view.

Thank you for being with us in seven photographs. I enjoyed taking them for you.

Take care,
Sandy 🙂
