We have the same problem with Formosa lilies as you have with bluebells there in the UK. Not so much hybridising but taking over from the local, similar lilies. They’re so beautiful it’s hard to think of them as undesirable aliens!
Happy you could enjoy the garden. Yes, that article was interesting. I learnt a lot for the first time. I didn’t know 50 percent of bluebell bulbs were here.
