Those who do not love do not know God for God is love.
1John 4:8
so
God/love is patient and kind.
Doesn’t envy, isn’t proud, doesn’t behave badly, or get angry quickly. (Very patient with Satan)
He doesn’t seek His own but finds a way to let us have free choice through the death of Jesus.
God/love is joyful in truth and not sin.
God / love doesn’t fail.
1Corinthoans 13 : 4-8 (Sandy’s summary with God or love for each characteristic).
It is difficult to do anything in the garden today, but I did take a few photos between showers and make some observations.

All in a cuboid bottle.
There is a clump of this graceful plant with just a few flowers. Looking at the plant more closely, the flowering stem is hollow with wings. The leaves are strap like in shape, with each flower having six white tepals with a greenish mark just before the tip. They thrive in wet clay soil. In England, flooding causes the stems to break, and the fruits are carried downstream. I don’t think they have had it so wet since I planted them, or I wasn’t here to see them bloom.
I spent a little time looking, and I will share what I saw with you.

Looking at other white blooms in the garden, there are the fruit trees in different stages of blossom: first, the grand, pollarded aged apple tree. I am hoping that what I saw was the pink tip of a blossom, but maybe not. Last year, it just bore leaves. Next, the two cherry trees have a speck of pink. I believe there will be blossoms. The pear tree is the only one in full blossom while lastly the two Victoria plum trees have nearly had all the blossom blown away by the wind and rain, although the four year old plum tree has had a lot of blossom this year.

In the foreground, what I think is a blossom. I would be so pleased if it really is.

So, for some quotes:
The seasons change their manners, as the year
Had found some months asleep and leapt them over.
Shakespeare
The seasons change, and you change, but the Lord abides evermore the same, and the streams of His Love are as deep, as broad, and as full as ever.
Charles Spurgeon
It has stopped raining for a while! Take care.
Sandy 🙂
God is love!
Yes, we must never forget it no matter how hard things get.
