White tulips sadly lost rapeseed oil blooms.

Paul speaking: Why do you judge your brother or sister or make them like they are nothing? Remember, we will all stand before the judgement seat of Christ.

Romans 14 :10 (Sandy’s understanding.” The one who suffered the ignomous death of the cross – He alone was to pronounce the sentence of reward or of punishment.” E.G. White. )

Look down in a ditch.
We are still experiencing a lot of rain.

Lift your eyes from this ditch and experience the bright yellow of our nearby oilseed rape fields. The flowers are blooming, and I hope the bees are buzzing.

Clouds gathering rain drops
bees collecting.
Blunt-cut hedges and bare trees framing .
April is here.

Rapeseed is the third-largest source of vegetable oil and the second largest source of protein meal in the world after soybean.

The honey is a milky yellow colour with a peppery taste and soft-solid texture.

Back in our garden, it is sad to say that weeds and rain have rotted or destroyed all the white tulip bulbs planted in the hidden/secret garden. Today, we dug out weeds and found only three small bulbs. It is how it is. You can’t travel and keep a garden as well as you should.

Weeds.
Today, we cleared them.
In 2022, it was full of white tulip leaves in April, but tonight, the brown earth soaks in the rain, not a single weed and no promise of flowers.

We will appreciate the tulips we have, and here is how I spent some time looking at one

A tulip painted by me.

A  couple of quotes about ditches that show the way I think:

If you see ten troubles coming down the road, you can be sure  that nine will run into the ditch before they reach you.

One person can not hold another in the ditch without remaining down in the ditch with them.

Calvin Colidge 1877 – 1933 He served as the 30th President of the United States. He also said ” All growth depends upon activity. There is no development physically or intellectually without effort, and effort means work.”

Booker T. Washington
Blunt cut hedges
stripped bare by the curse of plenty‘ with smudges of  hawthorn ,blackthorn bush  in white blossom
April is here!
And welcome to the bright yellow against the grey sky.
Layer by layer art strips life back.’ Bare trees as far away as the eye can see
hold branches high above the jolly ,joy of yellow.
