Jesus rebuked disease and banished fever. His voice reached the ears of the dying and they rose in health and vigor. Paralysed demoniacs obeyed His word, their madness left them and they worshipped Him. While he healed their diseases He taught the people. The poor peasants and labourers, who were shunned by the rabbis as unclean , gathered close about Him, and He spoke to them the words of eternal life.
Jesus speaking : ‘ I say to those who hear, Love your enemies, do good to them who hate you. Bless those who curse you and pray for those who, out of spite, use you.’
Remember: ‘ all things are possible through Me who strengthens you.’

Philippians 4:13 (Sandy’s wording)
I went to my area where I keep vegetation from my arrangements throughout the year, and it wasn’t long before I had a vase full of leaves and flowers from 2023.

Here is a list of my posts celebrating some of the flowers in this vase of 2023.
A delphinium growing in a bucket.
Red hot poker surrounded by bottle brush and Tutsan
Cardoon and pear
Two shasts daisies and one with more petals.
Hydrangea, oak, Chrysanthemum, and echinacea seed head.
Fruit of bears breeches and stinking iris with blue Berry leaves
12 different August flowers.
There are more, I am sure, but these are what I remember.

It is lovely to see : the tutsan leaves are a richer copper in colour, the zinias with their artistic silhouettes, the delicate delphinium petals still pink and the shasta daisies with curled creamy petals not fallen. I am so pleased with them. Next year we will see what the garden gives. I am looking forward to it. I must plant a gift of bulbs soon.
Thank you to everyone who has been part of this year. For various reasons, I have said goodbye to some, but always consider it my loss, not yours.
Take care, and I hope you find joy in flowers wherever you are.
Sandy 🙂
I love your eye for beauty with flowers, what a lovely arrangement of 2023 memories. Love your vase too!!
Thank you. I have only used that vase once before. I think it was with hydrangea heads. I thought it needed a turn. 🤣 It is amazing how good nature keeps!
Wow! Magic with old flowers and leaves. Who would have thought so much beauty is still there…. 🥰
Yes, it is! I was delighted when I found so much. Thank you for your comment.
