Look carefully at God’s great love, the Father uses the words “my children” when He thinks about us. We have to remember this. The only reason we and others don’t remember this is because ” we and they “forget to spend time knowing Jesus.
1 John 3:1 (Sandy’s understanding of this verse)
This pale blue Iris comes out of the ground alone without any leaves. It stands about 6 inches/ 15cm tall. This was taken on 15 March.
Today it is 17 March. Welcome to our world . The Iris is now fully open. It is Saint Patrick’s day.

I love irises, and this one is so pretty! So is your painting.
Thank you for your kindness in saying so.
Irises are so beautifully interesting and never boring to watch. Painting does teach us to really “look” and learn a lot from wonderful nature Sandy
Yes, painting slows one down and makes me care and the Iris is playful with its petals.
So many details and patterns when it opens. Lovely, Sandy, both the beautiful iris and your painting!
Thank you so much Donna. They are an interesting flower and you are kind.
“Art washes from the soul the dust of everyday life.”—wow. Love that quote and your beautiful paintings of the iris opening. Thank you for sharing it with us.
Thank-you for saying such a kind thing. I hadn’t bothered to watch an iris change before. It was rather special.
