And what will happen to the wicked?
Their sword will enter their own heart.

Psalm 37 and Psalm73 both these are an interesting read. My choice of words are from these two, you may see it differently.
Each year I bring in small groups of vegetation/ flowers that represent the garden and place them in a tea cup. The tea cups are from a collection I made 20 years ago. Here is one for July 2026. AI helped me to identify the plate as an Art Deco shape with a simple thin transfer band and a ” MADE IN ENGLAND” stamp. It dated it 1930s to the 1950s when large numbers were made and it is worth £3.00 a piece.
Placed in the cup with its well shaped blue ear are: straw flowers,dill, yarrow, lavendar, scabious and a few twigs of bottlebrush.
It was evening when I took the photograph hence the shadows.
Looking more closely it was the delicate detail of the dill flower that drew my attention. Here is a botanicle word ‘umbel’. An umbel is an inflorescence that consists of a number of short flower stalks ( called pedicels) that spread from a common point, somewhat like umbrella ribs.

And then I went back into the garden and looked at the angelica ‘umbel.’ This is very different and maybe has another name.
Then here is the pattern on the plate. It is simple, clean, created and worth looking at.
