Here is an accusation:
The Scribes said: ‘ Jesus casts out devils by Satan.’
Jesus said: ‘ How can Satan cast out Satan? If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. And if a home is divided against itself that home cannot stand. And if Satan rises up against himself and is divided he cannot stand, but has an end.
No one can enter a strong person’s home unless they tie them up, and then spoil their home.
With certainty I tell you. All sins will be forgiven to Earth people for example evil speaking, insults and cursing.
But
The person who curses the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is in danger of damnation.’
Some strong words as an answer to an accusation of identity.
A look at the garden
A bulb planted
It grew
A stem cut
A stem placed
A head photographed
A head painted
A plant written about
Why?
Why make it travel? To touch, to smell, to almost taste, to be with it more closely. To more eloquently express what is seen and almost felt. So it travels:

From the garden

To the vase

To the tip and sides of a thick tapered paintbrush.
It couldn’t be in water colour and it had to have red. Perhaps because of the Camellia shrub in full bloom that grew near it or is it the war. The mind has a way of expressing what is there. It certainly isn’t gentle but rather forceful in this acrylic paint.
‘ Ah, lives of men! When prosperous they glitter- like a fair picture, but when misfortune comes – a wet sponge at one blow has blurred the painting.’
Aeschylus. ( An ancient Greek 455BC often described as the father of tragedy.)
‘ Painting is silent poetry, and poetry is painting that speaks.’
Plutarch
I paint because I must. This has turned out to be a strange post.
Take care,
Sandy 🙂
Love your painting sis! I envy you spring coming!
Ah, it is enviable. I never think I have seen this before. Always new, different and joyful!
Oh, I forgot to say thank you. Glad you liked my painting. I think I enjoy the background painting as much as the ‘ focus’. Movement and shape of paint.
Lovely daffodils and painting, Sandy! My daffodil leaves are up 3 inches in my yard. 😊
Thank you, Donna. Ours are experiencing strong winds today.
