The sea has the sun/son

This post looks at two verses that encourage us to have faith and then looks at the sun and a son.

Paul is speaking about life as a race to be run with patience because there are many watching and he concludes with this encouragement: ‘ Look to Jesus the author and finisher of your faith, who endured the cross of shame and is now on the right hand of the throne of God.’ Hebrews 12: 2

Then God speaking in the Old Testament: ‘ Look to me and be saved, all the ends of the Earth: for I am God , and there is none else.’ Isaiah 45: 22

How much do we really know through exploration of the sea?

They say 5% which means the power and depth of this mysterious part of earth holds 95% to still find out!

The sea has the sun here today!

The light from sun penetration defines different ocean zones which ultimately shapes climate, weather etc

Its heat powers evaporation creating winds and currants etc

So today the sea has the sun.

But it also has a son.

A father and son. Today a small child student on a surf board stands for a few seconds.

Power in his skills over the sea.

It was a moment paid for by many moments of being thrown about by the sea but now he knows he can do it.

He will continue!

Fight and learn

the skill of mastering the power of the sea below his board.

Here is the sea with the sun, and an experience of a father and son to watch for a long time.

The small student child in the sea, the small board with a lead attached to his ankle. The great love of the father is what the son has and the great faith of the son for the father is what the father has. There they are in the powerful, unsettled sea, a board and the child’s skills to create and in the end self esteem to accomplish.

The textures and colours surrounding this bay of foam and sunshine are wind and water carved. Here are three close ups starting from the highest to the lowest. The brightest in orange tints of colour to the lowest of washed out tones. Most finely defined sharpness to rounded edges. Our Earth, here shaped by wind and water.

Here are a few quotes with shape:

‘ Remember the choices we make today shape the people we become tomorrow.’

Victoria Osteen

‘ Let your hopes, not your hurts, shape your future.’

Robert H. Schuller

And

‘ You’re in pretty good shape for the shape you are in.’

Dr Seuss.

We are still in the Algarve, by the sea, in sun and rain!

Take care,

Sandy 🙂
