I don’t paint to get it right
I paint to feel it
The scene the place, the colours the textures.
I am not a Christian to get it right.
I am a Christian to experience what Christ can do to change my hate into love, my concern into practical things to do, my living to caring.
Why do I paint and why do I love God? Because He loved me first and I’m grateful for His world I live in and He upholds.
There are rules for painting and rules for loving God. You can read them and see them. Other people’s lives and youtube, art galleries and the list goes on…
But you need to do it for yourself.
Both need fearless enjoyment of space, observation and time!
My husband and I wish you all a good new year. I will be in this space after that.
