Leaves and Chrysanthemums

Some on the boughs
…a lot on the ground.
Some on the boughs
A lot on the ground

Autumn melts

Fungus in all shapes appear
A hungry group for Autumn's fare
There is nourishment in the leaf

Its colours deepen
The richness of 'joys' as elements fill the gaps made by
Spring and Summer

Welcome Autumn drawn/painted  by the wind and rain
May we all capture the changes and feel pleased with the freely given colour melting before our eyes.

' A happy heart is as good as medicine, but a broken spirit dries the bones.'Proverbs 17:22
Autumn melts and the Chrysanthemums bloom…
…in the garden and
in the jug.

These were planted from cuttings in May from a plant given by Margaret many years ago. They have surprised me with how well they have grown with our summer warmth and little rain.

Time to think and read, paint and write

Autumn’s voice calls for  winter and it will soon be here.

Take care,

Sandy 🙂
