Teach us God to value our days that we will want wisdom and learn it. Then let what we do be done in the beauty of You God. (No quotation Sandy has made it her own read it in Psalm 90:12 +17 the verses in between too.)
The little girl sat on the stony ground
It could quite easily have been the little boy.
She didn’t want to get up. She cried and waved her arms.
Today was not her day to climb to the waterfalls.
Her brother walked silently hand in hand with her father
Mum gave up!
Dad left brother and gave her both his hands to hold.
She took both hands they walked a while until she left him and took her mother’s hand again.
By the time the notice board read:
‘This environment is fragile.’
she was fine again and made it all the way.
Let us look at this fragile environment above Sassenage.

A fragile place.
The Isère River

( Seen from a good cycle path on each side.)
Fragile?
Have you Forgotten
Rain does not make
A
Glass like it makes
Ice like
Life/love
Everlasting/eternal
????????????????????????????
Fragile drops from our ice topped mountains flow into our fragile rivers.
OR
NOT!

Papaver setiferum/ poppy in bowed red, four petals per flower.
Rumen crispus/ curly dock going to seed
all outside Bugzy ‘s door.
Fragile?

the trees and vegetation.
Our world.
Our planet Earth.
Here are five quotes on fragility.
‘Your fragility is also your strength.’ Pina Bausch
‘nothing which we are to perceive in this world equals the power of your intense fragility’ e.e. cummings
‘An appearance of delicacy, and fragility,is almost essential to beauty. ‘ Edmund Burke
‘ We don’t know where our first impressions come from or precisely what they mean, so we don’t always appreciate their fragility. ‘Malcom Gladwell
‘ Truly embracing the fragility and tensions of life… brings with it the possibility of true joy.’ Peter Rolling
I wonder which one you feel suits your thinking. I like the last one.
Take care,
Sandy 🙂
Ps
I travel differently. We have apps and good travel books and posts with facts that we use. This is a different space about the places we visit. Thank you for reading/seeing.
