Sometimes, a patient protracted,process!
The sun is just starting to reach parts of the garden it is about 7:30.
This is not early by many people’s standards, but our garden is only getting some sun, especially in the back garden.
Their stems are growing long as they need more light amongst taller growing plants.
I recently saw a flower arrangement using pansies purposefully grown amongst taller plants.
It was most impressive.
I thought this quote with ‘morning sun’ spoke well for the love of God even though it is meant for between people.

I don’t have that color of scabiosa. Do your weigela grow year-round? Mine is dormant in the winter.
No, it is brown stalks till spring, then flowers first and now leaves already. I’m pleased with the colour and it’s hardy!
