A few of the trees in the bluebell woods.

Jesus speaking: ‘Look, I have an open door in front of you, and no person can shut it.’ Revelation 3:8

It is not God’s plan that people are forced to give up their unbelief. There is light and darkness, truth and error. It is for them to decide which to accept. The human is gifted with power to discriminate between right and wrong. God designs that people  decide from the weight of evidence  by carefully comparing scripture with scripture, not by impulse.

E G White ( Sandy’s summary)

Different times in the bluebell woods.

Each time I visited, I photographed a few trees. This is how I saw them, and after each, it is a quote from very different people.

A zig but no zag straight to the light.

‘ I’ve enjoyed every age I have been, and each has had its own individual merit. Every laugh line, every scar , is a badge I wear to show I’ve been present, the inner rings of my personal tree trunk that I display proudly for all to see.’

Pat Benatar 1953 Singer and Songwriter.

A tree broken.
A sad sight.

‘ The appearance of strength is all about you. It would seem to last forever. However… the rotten tree trunk, until the very moment when the storm-blast breaks it in two, has all the appearance of might it ever had. The storm- blast whistles through the branches of the world even now. Listen and you will hear the creaking.’

Isaacs Asimov 1920 – 1992 Honda’s humanoid robot ASIMO is named after him. ( I put the ‘world’ instead of Empire. )

The trees, stitchwort, bluebells and much more.

The ground is acidic for the bluebells to do well, and so the trees could be oak, beech, birch, and hazel where the blubells grow.

A tree.
One of many that are fully grown and apparently healthy.

‘ A tree trunk the size of a man grows from a blade as thin as a hair. A tower nine stories high is built from a small heap of earth.’

Laozi 571 BC

( A large heap of earth, says Sandy, after seeing so many collapse for several reasons,2025 AD)

Bluebells from our garden.

It is warm today and will continue to be that way this week.

Take care,

Sandy 🙂

Ps

I watched Daniel Wretham scouting for places to photograph bluebells and saw some special photographs. Press on his name if you want to see the photographs first and then videos watching him work.
