The bluebell woods part 2

First,a verse I feel fits with the thought of growing through…

‘God’s love and kindness will shine upon us like the sun that rises in the sky. To give light to us who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet in the way of peace.’ Luke 1:78,79

( And the child,Jesus, grew and became strong in spirit and was in the desert till the day of his showing in Israel. Verse 80 )

The woods are surrounded by larger trees not yet in leaf, and the black thorns as sharp as they can be are no longer covered in white fluffy blossom but green leaves. As one enters the bluebell woods, the colour is coming through. It is slow but sure as their stems uncurl. Yesterday, we noticed this slow change in colour as we walked further toward the centre than before.

I will show five photographs taken in sunlight, and under each will be a quote with through.

The first photograph is the spot I am ‘ following ‘.

The green leaves seem to swamp the small blue heads. Press on the photograph to see more than you think there are.

‘ It  takes a lot of courage to push through hard times. Never give up. Good things are coming your way.’

Deeper into the bluebell wood.

‘Strength and growth come only through continuous effort and struggle.’

Napoleon Hill

Then, I looked outside the blue bell woods.

This is a view opposite to the one above.

‘ Life is one big road with lots of signs. So when you’re riding through the ruts, don’t complicate your mind. Flee from HATE, MISCHIEF, and JEALOUSY.  Don’t bury your thoughts. Put your vision to reality. Wake Up and Live!’

Bob Marley

The trees and tree/ shrubs that are  changing to green so quickly.

Returning from the woods I enjoyed painting this. The still hidden blue bell. Hidden by the green of all the long, smooth, nurturing plant leaves.

The blue bell growing through its own leaves and those of many others of its own type.

‘ The sunshine coming through your window isn’t a thief but a special guest.’

Michael Bassey Johns

I hope all is well.

Take care,

Sandy 🙂

  1. Very soon it will be just a carpet of blue👏 I love the sunshine through the window….always welcome!😀

    1. It is so cheerful and reassuring to have sunshine in the morning something we grew up with and now appreciate. Yes, it will be blue soon, and I want to capture it at its best, except it is more cloudy and soon becoming wet. Thank you for your kind comment. 🙂
