‘Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Resist the devil, and he will leave you.’
So what does that involve?
‘ Cleanse your hands and purify your thoughts those of us who are double minded.’( Stop doing wrong. )

As was yesterday
We walked back
Back to where the paths follow the blackthorn hedges.
A few weeks to bloom is all they have
We must see them when we can.
Nature is pulling.
Drawing us forward.
In the garden
the grass daffidols' heads lie in a pile.
Hyacinths in lemon, purple, pink, and white hold their upside down cone heads high.
Nature is pulling.
Drawing us forward.
In the woods
The bluebells wait their linear leaves at angles, acute, and obtuse to the ground.
No faltering, none trampled.
Ready and waiting to cover their world blue.
But
Blackthorn invites our thoughts:
' Winter didn't pull a fast one on this lovely scene. Spring has drawn up the sap, thorns all hidden in fine blooms
We are here in 2025!
