So, who owns Earth?
From ancient writing:
Genesis: Two main themes: Firstly, God intertwined with a faithful few that loved and served Him, and secondly, the depth of depravity into which those who left God and His precepts fell.
Let us travel with this writing:
God speaking: ‘ Let us make male and female in our image… let them have dominion.’ ( sovereignty/control). He blesses us humans to have children and gives us a garden to look after, but we must not eat from one particular tree that tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
We eat.
Satan has now got two more with him and the third of the angels.
He now becomes a second line steward. The Earth has conflict!
We hide from God when He visits us in the garden.
Genesis 3:10
We are driven out of the garden with the tree of life under a flaming sword of protection.
Genesis 3: 24
Our ground is cursed with difficulties working it. Our birth pains are strong.
Genesis 3: 16, 17…
Who owns Earth? God
God + people Satan +people together are stewards
Painful conflicts.
John: He was writing 30 years after the other gospels and wrote to address issues of heresy (Gnosticism ,which denied the reality of the incarnation) lack of piety and persecution.
Colossians and Romans: Both were written by Paul.
Let us continue with these ancient writings in the New Testament.
Jesus comes.
Jesus speaking about Satan: ‘ The prince of this world comes and has nothing in me.’ John 14 :30
‘ Now shall the prince of this world be cast out. And I, if I be lifted up, will draw all people.’ John 12: 31
The prince of this world is defeated at the cross.
But Satan is still here with us on Earth. Our deliverance is in Christ:
Paul speaking: ‘ Who has delivered us from the power of darkness, and translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son: In whom we have redemption through His blood for the forgiveness of sins. Who is the image of God, the firstborn of every creature. For by Him were all things created…’ Colossians 1: 13 -16. ( Sandy’s summary)
Who owns Earth? GOD
We can choose who we serve.
Our choices are our conflict.
Paul speaking: ‘ Don’t you know this; who you yield to as a servant is the one you obey; whether of sin leading to death; or obedience to righteousness.’ Romans 6:16
Does that sound like what we know?

I travelled in thoughts of religion. If you are new to my blog, my husband and I love God through Christ’s death for us and because they loved us first.
Take care,
Sandy 🙂
