Looking deep into our little garden pond where the new minature pond lily put up its first leaves to the surface in late summer, there lay a fish. One of three put in at about the same time as the pond lily. I felt colder than I was and stood still. No, it couldn’t be…
A short time after we arrived home from Portugal, I experienced being unwanted as I interrupted what I think was the Heron removing a fish. On the surface of the pond, one fish looked ‘ bitten’ or shocked, it’s blue and red bright against the grey- green of the water, returning to take it out, the surface was calm and empty.
Now this one! I turned to get a stick to disturb the water and when I looked it was gone. I am pleased it fled because it took ages to see this one while photographing at the pond today.
Here are three photographs yaken at the pond with some of the plants showing signs of change from winter brown to green shoots. One of the stones has fine layers of pinkish brown where moss has grown in the crevices and small spots of lichen where it is smooth. I hope the miniature pond lily shows signs of growth soon, but be pleased that the fish next to it is alive.

Religion
Here are three scenes. They have something in common:
Jesus drove out all those buying and selling in the temple. He turned over the tables full of their things. Matthew 21: 12,13
Jesus is greatly /much displeased with the disciples for turning the children away. Mark 10: 13,14
Jesus looked around them with anger because He had asked them two questions:
‘ Is it lawful to do good on the Sabbath days or to do evil? to save life or to kill?’
But the scribes and pharisees sitting in church on the Sabbath didn’t answer. Mark 3:5
Some strong words:
‘ The fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and liars, shall have their part in the lake of fire and brimstone which is the second death.’ Revelations 21: 8
Where there is love, there is justice!
Sometimes, we hate people and love the sin! Rather than love people and hate sin!
The only anger without sin is the anger against sin!
It is because the Lord is merciful that we are not consumed because His compasssion does not fail… the Lord is good to those who wait for the salvation of the Lord…
Take care,
Sandy 🙂

So glad the fish is alive!
Good SS lessons. I’m appreciating them too.
Me, too. I hope there are two in the pond, must sit and watch but it is raining!
