Two ends of the same beach

Here are two ends of the same beach. Both sets of photographs were taken in the morning but on different days with a change in weather. This is an Algarve beach Portugal.

Muted greens and rippled sand
Unobtrusively 
Low, lulled by the sea tide.

These plants hold the sand from drifting and keep the shapely shore line.

Cliffs, part of wholes from halcyon days when serenity reigned.
The whispers of times past hidden in shell layers.
A hushed place when the tide is out.

I looked at the word ancient in the Bible, and here are some thoughts.

‘Atik Yomin’ is the Hebrew name for God, meaning Ancient of Days. The reference is to a divine ruler who is eternally all- powerful. It is used by Daniel when in vision. This is how Ancient of Days is used   in context:

” I looked till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of Days did sit, whose garment was white as snow , and the hair of His head pure wool: His throne was like the fiery flame, and His wheels as burning fire. A fiery stream issued and came from before Him:

thousand thousands ministered to Him,

and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him:

the judgement was set and the books were opened…

I saw in the night visions, and behold , one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven , and came to the Ancient of Days, and they brought Him near before Him. And was given Him dominion and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve Him: His dominion is an everlasting dominion which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.”

Daniel 7 : 9-10, 13-14 ( Daniel is traditionally viewed to be written in the 6th century BC.)

I travelled a while with awe in this post. Awesome surroundings often make me turn to the Bible. Its ancient history of the world and prophetic correctness in telling of Jesus birth, death and resurrection and now the way things will be in the future. Here is a link verse with Revelations 5: 13

” And every creature which is in heaven and on earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying , blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto Him that sits upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.”

Both Daniel and Revelation are awesome books. They take time, prayer, and patience.
