Sabbath near some Algarve cliffs

Religion

Paul is speaking during the time of the Romans about AD 31 – 68. This is what he says:

” Whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Then he has some questions.)

‘How will they call on Him if they don’t believe in Him?’

‘How will they believe in Him if they haven’t heard about Him?’

‘How will they hear if no one tells them?’

As it is said: “How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace and bring glad news  of good things… so then faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.”

Romans 10:13,14,15 Paul was first Saul, and as Saul, he persecuted Christians. Jesus found him and changed him. It is a good story that has lasted the years. Jesus still finds people like us. Acts 9 has Saul’s story.

Travel

Friday’s sunshine
making a wet sandy mirror for the Algarve cliffs.

With wind early this morning, the blue sky became cloudy, and the pastels of a Sabbath sunset on the same beach had a different feel. Let’s look at the walk down and more closely at the colours of the cliffs.

Well constructed wooden staircase winds its way down to the sea.

The colours in honest light – few shadows but showing grooves crevices and falls. These make for nature’s interesting carvings, weather made, and characterful in white cream, sienna-pink, and rust.

A colour filled morning and evening place.

The cliffs of the Algarve.

Take care,

Sandy 🙂
