Caen past Mont -Saint-Micheles

Jesus speaking: ‘ God is a Spirit: and we who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.’

John 4: 24 ( Sandy asks: why a small ‘s’ for the second use of spirit? Does it mean attitude?)

On Roads we travel
Mist in November
Is a well placed thing
Well expected mingled with the trees
The trees slowly show stately form
Bark wet and branches held to the sky
Birds become more obvious with few places to hide
Their calls unmuffled by the dwindling leaves
Winter will soon be here
Enjoy some roads from Caen past Mont - Saint - Michel mostly in the mist.

By Sandy 🙂
My favourite capture as we drove by.

We will take the word ‘mist‘:

‘Sob, heavy world sob as you spin, Mantles in mist. Remote from the happy.’ W. H. Auden.

‘ Knowledge is soon changed then lost in the mist, an echo half- heard.’ Gene Wolfe

‘ I enter the world called real as one enters a mist.’  Julien Green

A new place, another time, a place for tomorrow.

Come with us.

Sandy 🙂
