A vase with difference

‘ I will make a man / woman more precious than fine gold; even a man/ woman than the gold of Ophir.’

Isaiah 13 :12

How will you make this difference?

‘After Jesus died on the cross and rose He refused to go and accept the homage of His people before He had gone back to heaven and had the assurance of God that His death on the cross had been enough to take away our sins. God ratified the covenant made with Christ. God would receive repentant and obedient men/women and love them like He loved Jesus His Son.’ ( My summary of a statement made by EG White in the book Desire of Ages pg 790.)

Here is my first try.
I am not satisfied.
Something is missing.
Ah, this is better.

There are differences between these two. Sometimes,a vase needs more and sometimes less. This needed more having such a strikingly red colour in the fine glass vase. The lavendar of the scabious in the first needed a little competition, so a little pink one is introduced. Then, some deep, dark seed heads balance the tear drop red of the berries.

I am going to let this post travel with  the word difference. Here are some quotes:

‘ The difference between stupidity and genius is that genius has its limits. ‘ Or ‘ There is only a finger’s difference between a wise man and a fool.’

Unknown / Diogenes

Salvador Dali had this to say:

‘ There is only one difference between a madman and me. The madman thinks he is sane. I know I am mad.’ I then looked at this Meet the Artist Salvador Dali. Press on the underlined blue to enjoy.

From the garden for you today.

‘The whole difference between construction and creation is exactly this: that a thing constructed can only be loved after it is constructed; but a thing created is loved before it exists.’

Charles Dickens.

Take care,

Sandy 🙂
