In general the gladiolus stands for
Strength of character
Faithfulness
Moral integrity
and
Rememberance.
Today the wind broke the tall red gladiolus.
Red is for love
It was red lying on the green of other plants.
Only one fell!
'One of these days it would happen.'
Sadly it is one of way of putting it!
It is one thing to say the wind would win, but another to see it done!
One by one each of the bulbs in the cupboard planter will have had their one summer 2024 wonder.

The gladiolus in stages of blooming . Not one single flower but a succession of flowers flowing up from wide open to closed buds. A lavish group of stages in life. It fell but it is beautiful to look at inside. The wind is very strong this morning.
Here are some thoughts about stages in life:

Maturity is a stage of life when you don’t see eye to eye but can walk arm in arm.
