Drobac Norway

Here is a fascinating quote it comes from one of the older books it’s a poem possibly written by Moses about Job who lived in the Arabian Desert. Here is what is said about God water and clouds.

By the breath of God frost is given: and the breadth of the waters is straightened. Also by watering he wearied the thick cloud: And it is turned around by his counsels: that they may do whatsoever he commandeth them upon the face of the world in the earth. He causes it to come , whether for correction, or for his land, or for mercy... Do you know the balancing of the clouds ? Job 37:10-13,16.

O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge  of God how unsearchable are His judgements, and His ways past finding out. Romans 11: 33

The Bible

Let us start at the end.

This is a hole.

Where will it go? From east to west.

How far and how deep? 7,306m (4.540 miles) -134m (440 ft)

Why do you need a hole in the east and the west? It makes for a quick journey under the Oslo Fjord. It is the Oslofjordtunnel.

Drobac was once the winter harbour for Oslo, since in severe winters the fjord would freeze from outside Drobac all the way to Oslo.

There are creatures that live in this fjord, and I was amazed to see  them this morning before we experienced the tunnel.

A few of them were housed in an aquarium across the bay from where Bugzy was for the night.

Bugzy had excellent parking.

I took Bess out early,
and  this photograph was with my back to the Drobac Aquarium.

The aquarium was a privilege to see  for there were examples of such a variety of sea creatures living in this Oslo fjord.

Their faces:

Their patterns:

Their shapes:

Their movement:

Their stories. Here are just two. The first I didn’t get the name of ( sorry) the second I did.

The male is orange to bright blue while the female is red with black spots by its tail. The male has a harem of females, but if he dies, a female will transfer into a male. We call these ” secondary males.” A vert few are born male, ” primary males. ” The females only seem to mate with “secondary males.”

The lumpsucker lays its eggs between stones and in cracks. Many females can lay eggs in one male’s nest, and the male protects the eggs until they hatch.

Stories on boards above the fish.
The water…
and clouds above the fjord.

Water above and below

Our Earth between.

It is a beautiful world.

Panic causes tunnel vision. Calm acceptance of danger allows us to more easily assess the situation and see options.

Our waste water tank has now been repaired. We are pleased.

I guess we will be asleep before the sun has set.

Take care.

    1. Anneta, a long time ago we visited Israel with our boys. We walked from Ilate sp? Into Egypt and snorkled from a boat. We had to be with a guide as we snorkled. He smacked my hand for even thinking of touching . It was magnificent. That was the last time and the best time.
