The essence of all beautiful art, all great art, is gratitude.

Even in a world with much sadness, at its essence, life is beautiful.

Exploration is really the essence of the human spirit.

Here are a few views walking through St.Ives.

Curiosity is the essence of human existence.

Who are we?

Where are we?

Where do we come from?

Where are we going?

I don’t know. I don’t have any answers to those questions.  I don’t know what is over there around the corner. But I want to find out.

Gene Cernan (American astronaut. During the Apollo 17 mission, Cernan became the 11th human being to walk on the moon.)

My trust/ faith/belief is in the Bible. God’s revelation of Himself through people’s experiences,  prophecy and most of all Jesus. Here are the places I find the answers:

Who are we? Romans 8:17 (God’s children)

Where are we? Daniel 2 (A prophetic explanation)

Where do we come from? Genesis 1:1 (In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth…)

Where are we going? Heaven (Revelation 1:7) 1000 years there in heaven (Revelation 20 ) then back to earth where God makes this world His ‘capital’.

Sandy’s understanding. My faith, trust, and belief.

Time will tell. The most important thing is how we live in a relationship with God and others.

This post is travelling. I am following the word essence and found this:

Society can not exist without law . Law is the bond of society: that which makes it, that which preserves it and keeps it together. It is, in fact, the essence of civil society.

Joseph. P. Bradley.

I guess the Bible answer to that is Exodus 20 : 1 -17 (The 10 Commandments.)

I asked myself what the essence was of my visit to this Cornish town, and after seeing the legacy of  artists, my post went along this road… As Aristotle said: ” The energy of the mind is the essence of life.”

We will soon be home.

Take care.

Sandy 🙂
