Here is a quote I am familiar with, but I didn’t know what followed. I was surprised!
You should love your neighbour as yourself but if you bite and eat each other up be careful that you are not consumed one of another. Not much left of either of us, I guess.
Galatians 5 : 14 – 15 ( Sandy’s wording. A little seriously humorous but interesting reading right to verse 26)

They have been part of our home for 23 days.
It is when I watch change in nature that I accept change in myself. The commonality is empathetic, and in this compassion, kinder thoughts grow. This has become part of retirement and how I choose to live.
Here are four thoughts two by women and two by men about ageing/maturing:
There is no such thing as ageing, but maturing and knowledge. It’s beautiful, I call that beauty.
Celine Dion
Nothing matters more than your health. Healthy living is priceless. What millionaire wouldn’t pay dearly for an extra 10 or 20 years of healthy ageing.
Peter Diamandis
What helps with ageing is serious cognition – thinking and understanding. You have to truly grasp that everybody ages. Everybody dies. There is no turning back the clock. So the question in life becomes: What are you going to do while you are here?
Ageing is the road that we take to discern our character... we must encounter a sufficient variety of experiences, including both failures and accomplishments, in order to gain nobility of character.
Goldie Hawn Kilroy J Oldster

Now, for some other thoughts:
What do you call someone who enjoys Mondays?
Retired.
Sometimes, the best part of your career is retirement.
Age is an issue of mind over matter. If you don’t mind getting older, then it really doesn’t matter.
I wasn’t going to do a post but these four roses were so wonderful that I wanted you to see them.
Have a good weekend.
Sandy 🙂
Retirement is not having to know what day the week it is! 😉 We go by weather, lol.
Absolutely! Except we suddenly know what day it is when we have missed something important!!!
🤣 for sure!!
