A poem from the meadow

And whatever you choose to do, Do it like you are doing it for God and not for people… for we serve Jesus Christ.

Colossians 3 : 23 (and a bit from 24. Sandy’s wording.)
They all have their boundaries
Not that they know they can break them
The old dead tree standing tall with the visiting woodpecker has a wooden one.
Those oaks in their prime have iron ones
The young trees of which there seem to be seventeen now
Have stronger cages.

All in the meadow today!

The snowdrops, me and Bess
What about us?
The snowdrops are rooted with little bulbs

Bess has her lead, but she really doesn't need it
She loves to stay close.

Me,
I have Roy and Roy, has me
I think we had a fence with a gate
but we aren't bothered much now
the love posts have gone so deep.

All these thoughts in the meadow today.

Tough snowdrops swaying
Keep the rhythm going strong
Ah,it's you,wind!(Ha ha ha!)

I hope today is as good as it can be!

Sandy🙂

Ps

Here some quotes. (Roy always asks for them if I leave them out.)

Like music and art, love of nature is a common language that can transcend political and social boundaries.

Jimmy Carter

Mathematics knows no races or geographic boundaries, for mathematics, the cultural world is one country.

David Hilbert

Daring to set boundaries is about having the courage to love ourselves , even when we risk disappointing others.

  1. Lovely meadow walk, the snow drops are so pretty swaying in the wind! I think I have either snow drops or crocus coming up right now. I was going to ID the leaves with my cell phone to see what they might be. 🙂
