Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him….(the rest of the verses are interesting. )
Psalm 37 : 7 – 9

The first of the garden’s bulbs are up. Shy, slender, and all with similar height. Today, they made me smile as I carried out arm fulls to the brown bin.
A bottle of this
A jar of that
A slip of plant kept because it had good shape
Another for its fading colour
Even the flowers in 2023's group.
All gone!
2024 needs space!
Sad? Yes!
Always sad.
Some you really want to keep but they have really left!
Flowers are for their time and then slowly go and today
I threw them in the brown bin!
Gone.
The garden holds what I sometimes don't know, depending on the weather patterns and if I am at home.
There are the 40 white tullips I haven't seen.
No slugs in 2023 could make things thrive differently!
Today, with the snowdrops, I will smile and say
Goodbye!
Thank you for a great year
I have learned a lot!

I guess there may be three flowers in there for 2024.
Patience is a virtue and virtue is a grace.
And who is grace?
The little girl who wouldn’t wash her face.
Patience and perseverance have a magical effect before which difficulties disappear and obsticals vanish.
John Quincy Adams
Genius is eternal patience.
Michelangelo.
Be patient and understanding. Life is too short to be vengeful or malicious.
Philip Brooks
Take care.
Sandy 🙂
I am happy that the snow drops made you smile! 🙂
Thank you. Smiling is easier talking makes me cough!!!
I hope you’re feeling better day by day!
Thank you. This time it seems to go to people’s chests quickly. Take care and enjoy those eagles. They are amazing 👏 .
I love the flowers. Do you throw away your bulbs? Or did I misunderstand?
Happy New Year!
Ha!Ha! All last years’ flower arrangements are in the bin. Sometimes, I let them dry. The snow drop bulbs are probably 5 years old and come up each year. Happy New Year to you and your wife, and thank you for your kindness.
:>) I love it. Thanks for the clarification!
It is good to start again! The garden always new surprises! Get ready for it!🤣🤣
Yes, I love my Daffodil bulbs. They need to be thinned out. You are right they don’t do well when crowded and old!
I love snow drops. I hope you are doing OK. I know you were ill a while back.
I’m still coughing but much better. Thank you for your kindness.
