We will walk together from where the cottage stands and the road curves to where our young children used to sing about Jesus’s birth. Come let us go through this tree lined passage.

The leaves are thick, and stick in the mud and on our shoes. There, through the fence, is the ancient tree from our other post. It won’t be standing tall this Christmas.
We will stop and give a thought to that vast quantity of wood and hope it serves people well.

There is so much richness in colour and texture as we walk on our way to hear the children sing.
There is a dirty, dusty stable
With stuborn animals who will not move out
Why should they! This stable in Bethlehem has always been their home.
But so much happens in that stable
I will lead you to that stable
Where God's light is so bright and the angels sing.
Listen for a little to the children sing. Their voices now bring a memory of our own children long ago.
Thank you for coming with us as we remembered .
Sandy 🙂
Always sad to see trees chopped down.
Also sad at Christmas these days…
