if salt loses its flavour
what is there?
It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and walked on. John 5:13
The petals are folding.

The season of blooming is over.
Soon, seed will lie in the ground.
Heads are shrinking…

Face crinkles and wrinkles are forming…

stems are harder and brittle. It is winter on the way.
The face is the mirror of the mind, and eyes without speaking confess the secrets of the heart. God has given you one face, and you make yourself another.
St Jerome and Shakespeare
A bottle that used to have butter flavoured salt is now empty except for the garden’s gift of daisies. Thank you for the summer season.
Take care
Sandy 🙂
Beautiful post 🌹
Thank you, Satyam
Yes, we are bloomless here, as well. Spring wouldn’t be so exciting if we always had it.
How right you are. Our Autumn is very beautiful at the moment.
Your painting is lovely, Sandy, and I love that you included our friend the turtle!
Thank you! I knew the turtle would have to come in some time. Painting is so helpful for me.🤗
There is a time to…… lovely post Sandy. Take care my friend🌹
Thank you.
Your flower study is so lovely! Well done.
Thank you, Morag, that means a lot. Each time I see a little differently.
You are welcome 💐💕
Autumn is a lovely season, I enjoy all the mundane colors of the plants and blooms as they go dormant into winter’s sleep. You painted your turtle, nice! I am seriously going to show you my matching turtle, working on a critter post to include it. hehehe
Thank you. I am looking forward to your critter post. Make the birds hungry!
