Though your sins be as scarlet
(only if you don’t mind and with permission)
I , Jesus, can make them as white as snow.
Isaiah 1: 8 ( Sandy says, look at the original for the full joy.)

In autumn, as chlorophyll fades, the sugar is trapped in the leaf by the abscission layer, resulting in the formation of anthocyanin with colours. Here are some quotes about patches as we look more closely:

Mark Lawrence says,’ Before a tree sheds a leaf, it pumps it full of all the poison it can’t rid itself of otherwise.’
Really, Mr Lawrence? Handy. Could we grow leaves and shed them before a war breaks out?

Now, this is definitely a man’s perspective.
Your body is always going through changes. (True) It’s fattening or thinning or wrinkling or blotching, (true) and the only thing you really have control over is putting some decoration on it. ( true/false plastic surgery, etc…)
Bill Ayers

We feel to reveal embarrassing or private things we have given someone something, that, like a primitive person fearing that a photographer will steal his soul, we identify our secrets, our past and their blotches, with our identity, that revealing our habits and losses or deads sometimes makes one less of oneself.
Dave Eggers ( I wonder what we think of this).
Will you ‘like’ me blotches and all?
Sandy , losing leaves fast! π€£
Blotches are beautiful! Your arrangements are always so creative and look so professional.
Ah, thank you. I am going to have a little time looking more carefully using my paint brush. I guess I won’t see them as blotches then but rather lovely shapes.
πππI love your thoughts, and humor…
Your still life is beautiful..
We are way more than blotches πππ that is what gives us credibility for our wisdom π
Thank you. What can I say?π€£
Multi-colored leaves are the prettiest.
Yes, and once you try to paint them, they are complex in their shades if lovely colours.
Blotches are colorful and beautiful, just as autumn leaves show us! I’m losing some of my leaves too, but my personality is still colorful! hehehe π
Yay, Sandy, when unpacking, I found my grandmother’s little turtle like yours finally!π€ Mine is blue velvet, and it’s now in my office on display with other cherished items. I just tried to paste a photo here but it didn’t work. I’m going to put it in one of my posts one of these days to share with you! π
Blotches and loosing poison through my leaves, I’m quite an exotic old turtle redorangeyellow. It will be great to see your grandmother’s little turtle some time. Look forward to that.
I do love your leafy arrangement. And yes we become as colourful as the autumn leaves with age and love itπ
All that experience. I like your positivity. I enjoyed seeing the colours in that old vase.
