Purple Heart and Velvet plant (Tradescantia sillamontama Matuba)

Notice the healthy roots on the Trandescantia with those on the purple heart just starting.

    1. Thank you. That furry leaf plant has a story. We were in Italy, and there was no real park up in a ‘caravan park ‘ where people had semi-permanent static holiday vans. One lady had spread her space by making a garden. She invited us to park in it. I took a cutting from this hairy plant, felt bad, and told her. She proceeded to give me two other plant cuttings, and both are growing well. This is a cutting from a plant well established by her cutting.

      1. Yes, she was a generous Italian lady who lived in Athens but loved her garden by her caravan . This may be of interest Stonehaven with my post of that nane posted from in Scotland has a red warning for flooding tonight. Really sorry for this beautiful coastal fishing town.
