A small word hope for a big event. Isaiah says : And it will be said in that day: ” this is our God, we have waited for Him and we are glad He has come to save us.” Then Titus says “The blessed hope , the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ. ”
Isaiah 25 :9 , Titus 2:13. ( Sandy says give me faith to hope in this return.)

They are on the left a good bunch of them.
I have just cut off their seed heads to collect store and germinate next spring.
This next arrangement is how I saw these leaf stems and seeds. Something like a school protractor with 0 to 45 and then to 90 degrees. The 0 is lying in the glass cuboid vase, a charity shop buy from yesterday when we were cycling.

Keep calm and chive on.
I am surprised at why this was said so maybe Keep calm and carry on will be the one we use.
Then look at the white gladioli. I wonder how this will turn out. The sedum has grown so well this season that the, left in the ground, gladioli corms, have grown through it. I hope they support each other and don’t break up. The last time the sedum plant was in a post Sedums and Zinnias it was looking very small.

Sometimes you have to get to know someone really well to realise you’re really strangers.
I don’t know.
I hope this week will be good for you.
Sandy 🙂

A lovely selection of chives and painting! Our sedums are doing exceptionally well this summer too and look forward to the colour in the autumn. I love your quotes and how true that :

Thank you.Yes, to that quote for me. I think it is because we have no snails or slugs this year that the sedum and petunias are fine. They say it is because last year was so dry now it is very wet!!!
Lovely garden and lovely arrangement, my friend!
Thank you. It does its own thing a lot so I won’t take the credit.
