Shasta daisies and day lilies. White and Orange. There is a snake too!

Beware that somebody messes with your thinking through philosophy and prideful deception . These thoughts coming from traditions and basic understandings of people , and not Christ.

Colossians 2 : 8 ( Sandy’s understanding of what Paul is saying. )
I picked these this morning can you see the two closed day lilies on the left I thought they were buds and would open like the orange one on the right.
They were firm in the cool morning air but not now.
They had had their day before I picked them.

It is in the ability to deceive oneself that the greatest talent is shown.

Anatole France
The green edged petunias from one plant are abundant and perfect

There seem to be no snails or slugs. They were watered a few times and with soil and sun they have grown so well while we were away. The unsung gorgeous petunia.

Then left in a cup of water from my last post before I left was this to see.
The cup was dry , the stems were contorted but a bud was trying to open.

Teach yourself self – denial and make its practice pleasure, and you can create for the world a destiny more sublime that ever issued from the brain of the wildest dream.

Sir Walter Scott

” There is nothing in there!”

The child said: ” Oh yes there is.”

Don’t look too long if snakes scare you and I promise you won’t see it. Unless you have a child next to you who will run their finger around the head. Over thr glass ofcourse.

Better to be occasionally cheated than perpetually suspicious.

B.C. Forbes

The road traveled with this post was again not how I thought it would be. I don’t particularly like the vase of flowers. White should be light in size and higher up, orange heavy and lower down. I will let you see.

Have a good weekend.

Sandy 🙂
