Come now, you who say, ” Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town and spend a year there and trade and make a profit”- yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes.
James 4: 13-14

The Shasta Daisies are blooming in the garden
Their centers would match well with the lemonyellow of the fluffy curry plant flowers.
The lavender will be ready to pick in a week and the new petunias are starting to flower.
But
I am not there
I am just thinking about them
Where am I?
I am in my sister's garden.
Yes, all Saturday night from 10:30 pm to 10:30 am we were flying over our Earth.
We were going 'home' where Dad is.
The Dad who has his routines and knows what comes next!
The Dad who got us out of bed to brush our teeth and told us to sit up straight when we ate!
Our Dad Bill is poorly
We were asked to come by Shelly (my sister)
Time is such that there may not be too much more to share.
But I hugged him last night!
Our Dad.
I said " I love you Dad!"
Present simple for habit.
Past, present and future.
No one knows exactly when they will die and so we enjoy these days... weeks...months?
Dad is the last of our four parents:
Percival William Stratford
Noreen Mildred Stratford
Dorothy Mary Pilmoor
Brian Pilmoor
These three are awaiting the reassurection morning.
So come Lord Jesus.

I hope to share a little of this beautiful area of Hoedspruit near the Kruger as we linger a little longer with our Dad.
Sandy 🙂
Here are some thoughts about the unexpected:
If history repeats itself, and the unexpected always happens, how incapable must man be of learning from experience.
George Bernard Shaw (1856 – 1950 Irish Playwright, critic…)
People who think they know everything are a great annoyance to those of us who know we do.
Isaac Asimov (Born in Russia and died in 1992 in America . He was a Science fiction writer and Professor of Biochemistry)
We are thinking of you and your family Sandy. Parents are so very precious. So good that you were able to fly to beautiful SA and spend time with Dad too
So pleased to have this time with him. He has cheered up a lot but is fragile. It is good for Shelly and I to catch up. SA is stunning.
I’m so glad that you are getting to spend some precious time with your father. Your sister’s garden is lovely.
Thank you. I hope to share some of this beautiful area with you too.
So glad you were able to hug your Dad last night. 🙂
Yes, it is good to be with him for a while whatever the outcome.
🙏
🥰 Thank you for coming. 🤗
A big hug!
