Vouliagmeni lake.

Jesus had some boiled fish to eat to prove He was really with them and says ‘ Everything must be fulfilled that is written about me in the Law Moses, the Prophets and the Psalms’ … He opened their minds so they could understand.

Luke 24: 36 – 49 ( This records how Jesus presence was made real to His friends after the resurrection. My words are a small section.)
If your eye follows the sand in the foreground straight through the blue of the sea
You will see
some ground has collapsed from the side of the hill
A large earthquake caused this
Leaving the outline of the collapsed cavern roof.
‘ A cave in.’

Cracks make caves collapse.

Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn (Nobel Prize winner in Literature 1970 A prominent Russian writer. 1918-2008)
Here the cavern is up close.
Vouliagmeni Lake.

The lake is south of Vouliagmeni Greece. It is supplied with water from Mount Hymettus to the South of Vouliagmeni and warm sea water spreading through a network of flooded caves which are deep inside and not yet completely mapped . (There have already been several fatalities through trying). In the lake the water temperature never drops below 18C and is brackish.

Vouliagmeni is host to the only existing population of a species of sea anemone, Paranemonia vouliagmeniensis, as well as the following fish : Red garra, European eel, Sailfin molly and Largeheaded goby.

When things get really dismal, you can laugh, or you can cave in completely.

Margaret Atwood poet, novelist, teacher, inventor , environmental activist a Canadian. If you are interested in an interview she gave for the BBC press on her name.

When life caves in, you do not need reason- you need comfort. You do not need some answers – you need someone. And Jesus does not come with an explanation- He comes to us with His presence.

Bob Benson

It was really sunny. We were glad for it! Take care.
