A Sabbath walk and remembering

…and God will ( come close and personally ) wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there will be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither pain: because all this will be in the past . (For us who are sad.)

Revelations 21 : 4

The days are short, there are puddles and mud.

The trees are truly bare and the ivy green.

But, like ivy , we grow where there is room for us.

Miranda

Today at 3pm we remembered a fellow walker.

A person full of fun and charm just newly married this late summer, remembering well it was just three months ago.

What is in a name?

C A R L O S

C - Caring
A - Athletic
R - Richly blessed with joy
L - Laughter
O - Obviously madly in love with Kasia
S - Sorely missed by those who knew him best.

Sandy 😪

There was tiredness and pain

A visit to a Doctor

A diagnosis of pancreatic cancer.

Morphine and within a month he no longer walks with us.

The birds are well fed by the ivy this winter,
The trees are bare, the puddles are big and we feel sad!

Thank you for reading this post. We morn in the hope of a new heaven and new earth.

    1. Yes, it is a sad thought that Carlos and Kasia had so little time together. I like ” handle with prayer” . I will remember that. Thank for reading my post and adding to it. Love you sis!

  1. Oh, I’m so sorry for your loss. It’s so hard when it happens so quickly. My husband lost his best friend the year we were married and it was the same—quick diagnosis and then gone. It’s still hard.
