Leaves, frost and a walk.

And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose.

Romans 8 : 28
Making blue lobelia petals weep.
FROST
Walking from the crackling, starch – stiff white into the yellow leaves falling fast in a ‘ December ‘ Autumn.
FROST.

Sandy 🙂

Winter is an etching,

Spring a watercolour,

Summer a painting,

And autumn a mosaic of them all

Stanley Horowitz (author)

I think I walked into a mosaic on this December morning.

Thank you for reading this frosty post from us in the UK.

Sandy 🥶

Ps

The UK has warnings of extreme cold. We have followed advice and are keeping one room warm with a little heating else where. A cheaper option. Churches and communities are also seeing a need for “Warm Welcome Spaces” where savings can be made on heat, this is for all of us, especially those working from home. I can’t help remembering our early days in Yorkshire with Mum and Dad and their one heated room.

  1. Frost is so pretty! “Winter is an etching… “ How beautifully the seasons are described.
Keep warm, and we’ll try to keep cool. Wish you were here.
